Welcome to The Resource Girl's Survival Guide for NYC!

Congratulations on taking one of the most exciting risks that you could ever take in your lifetime. Moving to New York City is not easy and the city in itself is not an easy place to live. It is expensive, the apartments are small, it is loud and the competition in the arts is fierce (as well as every other career). Whether you stay here for six months or 10 years, you will never be the same.

Don't worry, I am your "virtual friend" and I will help you with your practical needs: finding an apartment, odd jobs, ways to stay healthy, economic travel tips and more.

With my advice and the advice of Juliet Taylor, (Woody Allen's Casting Director), Broadway Star Ann Sanders (Beauty and The Beast, Avenue Q), Jessica Lynch (Miss New York 2003) artists (or anyone else for that matter) don't have to struggle and can put their energy into what they came here to do.

I wish you all the best! The Resource Girl
